As part of this commitment, Bowers Electricals are proud to sponsor Jake Smith for the 2026 cricket season, supporting his continued success in local cricket at Denby Cricket Club.

Jake goes into the new season following an excellent 2025 campaign. He finished as the club’s second-highest run scorer with 747 runs, including seven half-centuries and a top score of 92. His performances with the bat showed consistency and confidence throughout the season, making him a key player for Denby Cricket Club.

Bowers Electricals Sponsors Jake Smith Playing Local CricketHis contribution extended beyond batting, with 18 catches across the season, highlighting his importance in the field and his all-round impact on the team. Jake is a key member of the team and a valuable asset to Denby Cricket Club, consistently contributing with both bat and in the field. That same attitude carries through into his role at Bowers Electricals, where he is shortly to complete his Level 3 Apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter within the transformers and switchgear department.

Since joining in May 2022, Jake has quickly picked up the fundamentals, developing practical skills and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment along the way and over time, has become a trusted and valued part of the team, regularly contributing to important work across the department.
