Bowers Electricals Ltd now undertakes many Electro-Mechanical Repairs, our facilities have been re-organised to ensure ALL motor related repairs can be carried out. The addition of our large lathe has enabled larger motor machining to be carried out along with re-tyring and re-profiling of tram and bogie wheels.

All aspects of tramcar bogie work is undertaken, including complete overhaul, structural work and supply of component parts including aides, gears and complete wheel sets.

As well as our larger machines, Bowers Electricals also has a fully equipped machine shop facility. Metal spraying, re-shafting and re-keying are all undertaken on a routine basis, along with specialist repairs to motors and motor parts.

Bowers Electricals are the vehicle and infrastructure engineers to the Great Orme Tramway at Llandudno and have re-engineered and manufactured new pulleys and rollers for the haulage rope system.
